“HELLO! May I remind you that you’re single, just passed the bar exam and have a job at a prestigious law firm. You can’t just QUIT, it’s not what “WE” do…”
With that...POOF!
My dream of a better life instantly disappeared because “WE” don’t do those sorts of things...and by WE I mean, the large group of people that I was obsessed with pleasing no matter what.
Yup, I was an “Approval Addict” and that addiction had me settling for a life that was far from living up to my potential.
I was being strangled by the limits everyone placed on me.
I felt like I was trapped in a box and couldn’t get out. And if I’m honest with myself, there were plenty of limits I put on myself too that kept me right smack dab in the center of my Comfort Zone…
